Very touching and relatable. I, too, had never thought of saying those three words to my mama until I left home and became friends with people from other countries who are very vocal about their feelings for their parents. I remember the silence at the end of the phone the first time I said those words to my mother. She responded, and I could feel that she was beyond pleased.
